Ajay Ramesh Gupta

Strategic Partner

Ajay Ramesh Gupta is a performance-driven professional with over 20 years of experience in
government liaison, finance, legal work, and administration.

He holds a B.Com. from Bombay University (1993) and an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS (1997).

His career includes significant roles at Space Agents (Jan 2023 – July 2024), where he focused on property leasing for major brands and government compliance liaison for financial firms.

Prior to that, at Grauer & Weil India Ltd (Feb 2013 – Nov 2022) as Sr. GM Corporate / Associate VP Corporate, he headed the liaising department for diverse business interests (chemicals, paints, engineering, lubricants, and real estate), handling due diligence and statutory compliances.

His responsibilities extended to the “Growel 101 Mall” in Kandivali East, overseeing permissions and government interactions.

Earlier, at Shree Krishna Group of Companies (July 2000 – Dec 2012), he was GM Credits, streamlining customer accounts and credit systems.

He also played a key role in the takeover of The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd and the setup and operation of textile plants and a major real estate project (“Empress City Nagpur”), including a mall, residential flats, a hotel, and an IT park, securing significant lease agreements.

Notable achievements include receiving the Maharashtra IT Award (2009-2010) and the Retail Icon Award (February 2012).

Devang Sheth

Devang has over 30 years of experience in various senior management and key advisory capacities in the field of Engineering, Real Estate, Marketing, Business Development, Trade and Media across North America, UAE and India. He is Co- Founder of RealX, a fractional ownership real estate company. His recent experience spanning about 15 years has been in real estate having worked with top brands with focus on transaction and advisory services.

In his earlier role his clients included International companies such as Boeing, Walmart, Black & Decker, Phillips, Southern Pacific Railroad and many more.

He also serves as Chairman of Indi Enterprise, a multifaceted media group, providing media services to clients such as British Gas, Pfizer, Citibank, Bank of America, Novartis, Rustomjee, Mastek and others.

In his prior experience he served as the Founder and Chairman of ecopper.com which was voted the best copper portal by D & B. As one of the key Advisors of Red Apple Trading Group in UAE, he was instrumental in taking the revenues from zero to $100 M in 24 months by trading in commodities such as iron ore, sugar and metal.

He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Mumbai University, an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines(USA) and a Diploma in Marketing from University of California, Riverside, California.

At ICAN FLIP Advisors, Kartik leads initiatives in:

assets.

He began his legal journey with Crawford Bayley & Co. and has held key leadership roles in several prominent organizations including Rohan Lifespaces, Ashapura Minechem, Crompton Greaves, USV, and Glaxo India. His expertise spans litigation strategy and monitoring, corporate legal advisory, and high-level liaison with government bodies such as MCGM, CIDCO, MIDC, and regulatory authorities like CLB and the Official Receiver’s office. He has significant experience briefing top-tier legal professionals, handling high-stakes writs and PILs, and managing complex legal agreements related to manufacturing, IP, real estate, and corporate finance.

Holding a PhD in Real Estate Finance from Mumbai University, he is a recognized authority on MahaRERA and serves as a legal advisor.

His expertise is sought after by leading organizations, including Dow Jones and governmental bodies like MMRDA and CIDCO .
